If you continually need to note down important data, phone numbers or appointments and tasks to perform on paper, but you end up losing these notes, you can get help with Simply Stickies. As its name suggests, it's a program that lets you create virtual sticky notes to stick on the desktop of your computer, like a Post -It.

With Simply Stickies you can customize to your liking each of the notes, change their background colour, type and font colour. All the notes are saved automatically so you can restart the computer without problems. Its handling is very simple, and to create new notes you simply have to click the icon in the Windows toolbar and it automatically opens a new post -it that you can edit.

You can place the notes created with Simply Stickies in the order you want for all your desktop, even group them on top of each other. Also, you can indicate that the notes are displayed in the background so they don't hide your applications.
